Physical Education
What a year it has been so far in PE! We have been lucky enough to have the Brisbane Heat coaches share their skills and expertise in cricket, with the whole school taking advantage of the Cricket Gala Day in Term 2. Everyone had a great day and benefitted from learning how to take turns and follow the game’s rules. The Junior Secondary cohort has competed in two Tri Series, Basketball in Term 1 and Tee Ball in Term 2, receiving high praise from the Lifestream Sports Coordinator, Simon Boland, who complimented them on their behaviour and skill level. This term ten of the Junior Secondary cohort will compete in a cricket Tri Series, travelling to Mt Archer SS for skill development days before competing in a game. This term sees our day of days, Sports Day, happening in Week 4 on Friday 9/8/19, please join us and bring your best cheering voices.

Performing Arts
Hello and welcome to performing arts in 2019! We are
super excited to learn all things performing arts starting term one by focusing
on Music. Through music each students has the opportunity to explore, create
and perform a wide variety of music and compositions. There is a variety of
musical instruments to experiment with as well as the opportunity to share
musical interests with peers and staff. The study of music allows each students
to be a composer, performer and audience member while enhancing their
creativity and wellbeing skills.
Please feel free to contact me through the school
for any inquiries about our performing arts program.
